Winter Recreation Guide

Downhill Skiing & Snowboarding at The Homestead Resort

Two surface lifts, three chair lifts, 15 unique runs, one terrain park.  More views – and memories – than you can count.  Skiing at The Homestead is about the gentle beginner’s slopes and the challenge of the black diamonds.  It’s about testing yourself on the moguls, cruising down the South Face of Bay Mountain towards a warm drink.  Even more than that, it’s about spending time with people you care about, amidst the natural splendor of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.  Some of our runs are designed for beginners, others for experts.  But the views are for everyone.

That’s why we do so much to make sure they’re easy to enjoy.  If you need to rent equipment, we have the best boots, boards, and skis for people of all sizes and skill levels.  A group, private, or semi-private lesson can help everyone get the most out of their time on the slopes.  And if one member of the family doesn’t feel like skiing, or needs a break, they can enjoy the same great views and unparalleled service at Spa Amira, or Lillyjade, a salon.
